Nashville turned a good effort from starter Rafael Trujillo into a win over the Tortolita Drummers at Hot Chickens Park. The Hot Chickens won the game, 2-1. The Drummers drop to 4-9, as their stumbling start to the 2062 season continues.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Hot Chickens had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when left fielder Scott Powell hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Norman Ayres and made the score 1-0, Hot Chickens. Powell was 3-4 with 3 singles.

Powell called the win a testament to his team's "grit."
