Foster Brantley did all he could to help his team prevail. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys from losing the game, 7-6, to the Sioux Falls Red Pandas in 10 innings at The Bamboo Forest. Brantley went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The win went to Michael Green in relief, making him now 2-0. James Tucker took the loss for Syracuse. Sioux Falls has a record of 7-8.

The Red Pandas got a clutch hit from first baseman Claudio Ynegas. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Red Pandas.
