Liberty Reserves Find a Way to Win
The Philadelphia Liberty Reserves picked up a win at Liberty Reserve Stadium, knocking off the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 2-1, in 11 innings. On the mound for Philadelphia was left-hander Roland Jamison. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. The win belonged to Bill Carson in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Tony Hensley took the loss for Sioux Falls. Philadelphia has a record of 11-4.

The Liberty Reserves got a clutch hit from left fielder Carlos Martínez. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Liberty Reserves.

"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Sioux Falls manager José González. "We just didn't cash in."
