The 7-4 Tortolita win over Monongahela was due in large part to Carl Flowers. The Drummers first baseman went 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. The save was credited to Andrew Shirley, his 5th. Tortolita is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 6th win in 16 games.

With one out in the bottom of the fourth, Boyd Barnett put Tortolita in front, 2-1, with a run-scoring single. The Drummers went on to win the ballgame.
