|
The Norfolk Pajaritos downed the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 4-3, in 10 innings. Ambrose Jackson led the way, going 3-for-4 for Norfolk. Duk-yeo Cho notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. The win gives the Pajaritos a record of 7-10.
Norfolk needed the clutch hitting of Armando Merza to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Pajaritos on top, 4-3. For the game, Merza had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
