The Plymouth Rocks wanted a good start from Jason García -- and he delivered one. The result was a 4-2 Plymouth win over the Hartford Pride at Plymouth Quarry. The winning pitcher was García, now 1-2. He tossed 8 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 7. The loss puts Hartford at 9-11.

Onye Paulino, who is tied for 6th in the SAAA in triples with 1, took Hartford hurler Alex Wicksted deep in the bottom of the first. His 2-run home run put the Rocks on top, 2-0. In all, Paulino had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.

"It feels good to get this one," Paulino told the Plymouth News.
