Tortolita third baseman Ozzie Canales-Lister contributed significantly to his team's 7-1 win over the Calgary Lynx. Canales-Lister went 1 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Drummers. The win brings the Drummers to 7-13, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

Stanley Lewis hit a run-scoring double off Richard Albright in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Drummers in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Lewis had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Canales-Lister.
