The Tortolita Drummers and Florence Flamingos provided some drama for the home crowd.

Florence first baseman Duncan Collins had a 3-RBI game, leading his team in its 7-6 defeat of the Tortolita Drummers. Collins picked up 1 single and 1 double in the ballgame. The save went to José Suárez, number 1 for him.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 26-year old second baseman Bobby Harris. Harris had a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Flamingos ahead, 7-6. For the game, Harris had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Collins, "but we got it done."

Tortolita is 14-6 after the loss.
