Sacramento Redlegs starter Rich Banks was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Norfolk Pajaritos, 6-5. Tetsuyuki Ando earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 2-1. The 9th-place Pajaritos have lost 4 straight games.

Bryan McLehose was the walk-off hero for Sacramento. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Redlegs third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
