|
Kansas got a valiant performance from pitcher Cenek Stensel, but it wasn't enough to beat the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes. Santa Barbara won the game, 7-3. Stensel threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Héctor Salas picked up the win, lifting his record to 1-1 on the season. He struck out 4 and walked 3 in 7 innings, while yielding 3 runs. Dave Bass closed the game out for Santa Barbara, earning his 10th save.
