Rocks Make It 4 In a Row with 2-1 Triumph Over Monongahela

The Plymouth Rocks earned a close win over the Monongahela Monsters, thanks in part to David Meyer. The Plymouth right-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the SAAA in innings pitched with 41.2, played a key role in the 2-1 victory. Meyer yielded 1 run over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6. His record improves to 4-0. The first-place Rocks have won 4 in a row.
Making an impact for the home team was Cate McMahon. In the bottom of the fourth, the 30-year old shortstop had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 2-0, Rocks.
