Monongahela registered a win at Lynx Stadium by beating the Calgary Lynx, 7-4. Pitcher Lee Wood was one reason why the Monsters triumphed. Jerry Shaw nailed down his 1st save. The Monsters go to 18-6, putting them first in the Silver AAA.

With two out in the top of the fifth, Tim Anderson put Monongahela in front, 3-0, with a run-scoring single. The Monsters went on to win the ballgame.

"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," Anderson told the Monongahela Times.
