The 2063 season is getting uglier for Hartford.

The Drummers earned a hard-fought, 4-2 win in 10 innings at Pride Park. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Hartford pitcher Spencer McCarthy. McCarthy went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Tortolita reliever Kyle Warren picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Ernan Rillera absorbed the loss.

Tortolita took a 2-1 lead on Tse-peng Thian's 10th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Thian hit in the top of the tenth, left Hartford pitcher Ernan Rillera visibly frustrated.

Thian told a Tortolita Observer reporter that he felt "ecstatic" after the win.

The slumping Pride have lost 6 straight.
