Port Huron got a strong outing from Juan Soto as the Blitzkrieg defeated the Philadelphia Liberty Reserves, 3-1, at Liberty Reserve Stadium. The Blitzkrieg raised their record to 10-15.

Port Huron needed the clutch hitting of Yic Hsi to seal the deal. The catcher swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Blitzkrieg on top, 3-1. For the game, Hsi had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Port Huron manager Mike Nyberg.
