Liberty Reserve Stadium was the site of a tense game between the Port Huron Blitzkrieg and Philadelphia Liberty Reserves.

Bobby Johnson, who is tied for 4th in the SAAA in innings pitched with 42.1, never let the Blitzkrieg get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Liberty Reserves to a win, 3-1. Today's win puts Philadelphia at 10-16, while Port Huron falls to 10-16.

In the bottom of the second inning, second baseman Martin Ryan had a 3-run home run for Philadelphia. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Liberty Reserves on top, 3-0.

Philadelphia manager Kiril Neuvel commended his team for delivering "maximum effort."
