The Kansas Rainbeaus beat the Hartford Pride, 4-2. Kansas pitcher and Crawfordsville, Indiana, native Anthony Wright led the way. Raúl Sánchez was credited with the save for Kansas, his 4th of the season. The losses continue to add up for Hartford, having now dropped 8 straight.

The Rainbeaus got a big hit from designated hitter Mark Glenn. Facing Hartford pitcher Jeffrey Dixon in the bottom of the fifth, Glenn pounded a 2-run double to right. His 5th double of the season put the Rainbeaus ahead, 3-0.

Said losing manager Tim Fowler: "Obviously, we wished for a better outcome."
