The Sacramento Redlegs cruised to a win over the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 12-2, at Sacramento Sanitation Station. Jaime Espinar led the way, going 3-for-4 for Sacramento. Roberto Sánchez got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 6 innings. The winning streak has now reached 9 games for the Redlegs.

Theo Belcher made an early impact for Sacramento when he stroked his 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which came with two out in the bottom of the first, put the Redlegs on top, 2-0.
