Extra-Inning Win by Drummers Over Black Mambas
Tortolita turned a good performance from starting pitcher Carlos Gómez into a 6-1 triumph over the Austin Black Mambas in 11 innings at Mamba Park. With the win, the Drummers improved to 20-7.

The most important at-bat for Tortolita came in the top of the 11th inning, when shortstop Julius Sharp stroked a 1-0 fastball to right for a 2-run single, putting Tortolita up, 3-1.

"Pleased with the effort and the win," said Drummers manager Marcos Costa.
