Sioux Falls got a strong outing from Warner Alder as the Red Pandas defeated the Florence Flamingos, 4-1, at The Bamboo Forest. In 6.1 innings, Alder surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run. Aukthya Shalabh earned the save, his 1st.

Tony Flores came through for Sioux Falls when he hit a 2-run single in the bottom of the second. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a two-strike slider to right field, staking his team to a 2-0 lead.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Sioux Falls skipper Rodney Dudley.

The win for the Red Pandas raised their record to 14-13.
