Red Pandas Handle Liberty Reserves, Nab 4-1 Win

Sioux Falls and Philadelphia duked it out and the Red Pandas came out victorious.
Ronnie Gómez, who leads the SAAA with a 1.08 ERA, never let the Liberty Reserves get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Red Pandas to a win, 4-1. Sioux Falls is 16-12 and Philadelphia, with the loss, 18-10.
Han-seung A had a big run-scoring double for the Red Pandas in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Sioux Falls leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from Jim Ball, who is tied for 2nd in the SAAA in complete games with 1, and swatted a double to right. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Red Pandas ahead, 2-0.
"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Gómez.
