Potter Shines in 9-5 Florence Win
The 9-5 Florence win over Monongahela was due in large part to Scott Potter. The Flamingos center fielder went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Denver Butler picked up the win with 5.2 innings of work. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 1-4. Chris Stroud collected his 1st save.

Matt Davis aided the Florence cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the second. For the game, the shortstop drew 1 walk in 5 trips to the plate.
