The Tortolita Drummers powered past the Philadelphia Liberty Reserves, 9-5, at Drummers Ballpark. Peter Bailey went 2 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3, to lead the charge. Keizo Baba earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record is now 3-0. The Drummers improved to a lofty 22-8.

Pete Black broke a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the eighth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Drummers in front, 6-5. For the game, Black drove in one run.
