Port Huron Sent Home with 4-2 Loss

The Monongahela Monsters defeated the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 4-2, in USSL Triple A action at Port Huron Park. Monongahela pitcher Lee Wood had a standout performance. The Monsters now have a mark of 16-18.
Monongahela used the hitting of Grant Cobb to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Monsters on top, 4-0. For the game, Cobb had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Monongahela manager Sancho Tornero.
