Another game, another loss for the struggling Hamilton Thunderbirds.

The Hartford Pride defeated the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 3-2. Doing his part was center fielder Clinton Dotson, who was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks. Ted Browning, now 1-0, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Dotson hit a fastball from Ed Walters for a run-scoring single. The Pride, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This place was rocking at the end," Dotson said.

The losing streak for Hamilton has now reached 10 games.
