Black Mambas Topple Hot Chickens, 7-6, as Ortíz Shines
The Austin Black Mambas trumped the Nashville Hot Chickens, 7-6, at Hot Chickens Park. Austin right fielder John Ortíz was terrific. He went 4-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The winning pitcher was 30-year old right-handed pitcher Bob Craig. He tossed 103 pitches over 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 9 hits.
