Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Machine
The Montreal Machine topped the Milton Dogfish Head, 4-3, in 10 innings. Montreal third baseman William Martz, in particular, was impressive. He was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. With the victory, the Machine upped their record to 20-16.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Martz hit a fastball from Mike Nichols for a run-scoring double. The Machine, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Milton manager Brian Burt said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
