Behind the hitting of Greg Reese, the Sioux Falls Red Pandas stopped the Hartford Pride, 4-2. Reese was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Red Pandas. Picking up the save was Gene Greene, his 1st. The Pride, now 11-25, have lost 4 in a row.

Sioux Falls took a 4-0 lead on Reese's 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Jeffrey Dixon in the top of the sixth, propelled Sioux Falls to the win.

After the game, Sioux Falls manager José González applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
