The Kansas Rainbeaus picked up a win at Wichita Field, topping the Florence Flamingos, 5-2. On the mound for Kansas was right-hander Carter King. He played a principal role in the triumph. The Rainbeaus go to 18-18, putting them 4th in the Silver AAA.

With one out in the bottom of the sixth, Nathan Dooley barreled up a cutter from Denver Butler. The result was a solo home run, putting the Rainbeaus in front, 3-1.
