Tortolita pitcher Larry Bryant had a large part in his team beating the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, 5-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Bryant picked up the win for Tortolita, going 5.2 innings. He gave up no runs on 1 hits. He now sports a record of 3-0. The Drummers now own a record of 27-10.
