Though he had a terrific game, Duncan Collins could not prevent his team, the Florence Flamingos, from absorbing a loss. Austin won the game, 6-4. Collins was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Picking up his 8th save was 33-year old left-handed pitcher Horace Hill. Austin sits in second place in the Silver AAA at 23-14.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Titus Andromedon? The Austin right fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Black Mambas on top, 4-3. For the game, Andromedon had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
