Great Effort by Jusino Wasted in 11-4 Piranhas Loss
Panama City catcher Rubén Jusino pounded Ft. Worth Cattlemen pitchers at The Tank, but it was not enough to keep the Piranhas from falling, 11-4. Jusino was 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Tony Cowan, the winner, improved to 3-5. He held Panama City to 3 runs on 5 hits over 5.2 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. The losing streak for Panama City has now reached 4 games.

Ft. Worth used the clutch hitting of Louis Bletsoe to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Cattlemen the lead, 6-4. For the game, Bletsoe had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Ft. Worth manager Scott Thompson.
