Hot Chickens Suffer 8-4 Loss to Liberty Reserves
|
The Philadelphia Liberty Reserves faced a tough opponent in Nashville pitcher Allen Warm, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Liberty Reserve Stadium by a final score of 8-4. Warm went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Milan Komljenovic, who is tied for 10th in the SAAA with a 2.75 ERA, was the winner. He's now 6-3. The loser was Takakazu Ishihara. The second-place Liberty Reserves now sit at 25-14.
Sung-jae Hong broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the second with a run-scoring ground out. It put the Liberty Reserves in front, 2-1. For the game, Hong drove in one run.
"Good, blue-collar kind of win," said Liberty Reserves manager Kiril Neuvel.
