|
The Black Mambas grabbed a win, 4-3, at Mamba Park, overcoming a fine effort from Port Huron pitcher Ronnie Vis. Vis went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. The Black Mambas improved their record to 27-15 by beating Port Huron.
Had Alexander Karshev not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Karshev hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Black Mambas.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Port Huron manager Mike Nyberg, "let me know."
