The Sioux Falls Red Pandas defeated the Austin Black Mambas, 6-0. Doing his part was shortstop Han-seung A, who was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. With the win, Sioux Falls raised its record to 22-21.
The game was at a stalemate until catcher Esteban Mancíto came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Austin pitcher Alejandro Paboal, he hit a 0-2 cutter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Sioux Falls on top, 1-0.
