Amador Licopit helped his team muscle past the Tortolita Drummers, 8-6. In the game, the Florence second baseman went 3 for 5 with a triple and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Cisco Rodríguez closed the game out for Florence, earning his 5th save. With the win, the Flamingos have a record of 21-23.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Flamingos grabbed the lead when Licopit hit his 1st triple of the season. The bases-clearing triple off Horace Cope made it 7-5, Florence.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Licopit told the Florence Gazette.
