6-4 Loss to Pajaritos Extends Hartford Losing Streak

The Norfolk Pajaritos got a rain-soaked win over the Hartford Pride.
Norfolk Pajaritos starter Warren Evans found his groove in his team's 6-4 win over the Hartford Pride. Evans, now 3-3, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs. David Adelabu earned the save, his 17th.
It could have been a different outcome for Norfolk, had it not been for Ofa Paulo, the 24-year old first baseman . Paulo contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Norfolk up, 4-3.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Paulo told the Norfolk Citizen.
The losing skid has reached 6 games for Hartford.
