Flamingos Earn Late 4-3 Win
The Florence Flamingos scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys at Florence Field. Florence pitcher Alan Sullivan held his own in the contest. Cisco Rodríguez was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Rizhean Bonrostro. By defeating Syracuse, the 5th-place Flamingos improved to 23-23.

Florence got a critical at-bat from Javier Morales. The designated hitter stroked a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was huge.
