Drummers Overcome Great Performance by Andromedon in Win
The Tortolita Drummers overcame a good performance by Austin right fielder Titus Andromedon to knock off Austin, 9-8, at Drummers Ballpark. Andromedon went 4-6 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 6. Todd Jackson was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Giustino Cotichini. Andrew Shirley earned the save for Tortolita, his 8th.

Tortolita third baseman Wayne Schmidt helped the Drummers go up, 9-8, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Schmidt hit a run-scoring single off Austin pitcher Giustino Cotichini.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Austin manager Luis Vicenteno. "But we decided not to take it."
