The 3-hit performance of Raúl Silva helped the Norfolk Pajaritos beat the Nashville Hot Chickens, 7-2. Jesús Sánchez, who is tied for 8th in the SAAA in strikeouts with 51, was the winner. He's now 4-3. The loser was Edmund Rochefort. The slumping Hot Chickens have dropped 8 in a row.

Norfolk took a 4-1 lead on Silva's 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Edmund Rochefort in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Norfolk to the win.

"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Ward Wilberfoss told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
