Florence Field was the site for USSL Triple A action featuring the Florence Flamingos and Philadelphia Liberty Reserves.

The Philadelphia Liberty Reserves topped the Florence Flamingos, 7-3, in USSL Triple A action at Florence Field. The standout performance belonged to Philadelphia pitcher and Villa Bruzual, Venezuela, native Javier Salinas. Fred Briggs picked up his 3rd save of the season.

With Philadelphia leading 3-0 in the top of the fifth, Ángelo Soto hit a 2-run single off Florence pitcher Mario Hernández. It put the Liberty Reserves ahead 5-0.

"If the personal accolades come, so be it," said Salinas. "I just want to win ballgames."

Philadelphia, at 34-13, is 3½ games up in the Silver AAA.
