Anderson Clouts 2 Homers in 4-3 Monongahela Win
|
Good production from center fielder Tim Anderson helped the Monongahela Monsters topple the Milton Dogfish Head, 4-3. Anderson belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Monsters. Monongahela is 24-23 and Milton, with the loss, 17-30.
Anderson made an early impact for Monongahela when he stroked his 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the top of the third, put the Monsters on top, 3-0.
In comments to the Monongahela Times, Anderson insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
