The Calgary Lynx took on the Monongahela Monsters at Timber Hawks Ballpark.

Getting offensive support from Phil Maddox, the Calgary Lynx topped the Monongahela Monsters, 7-4. Maddox went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Lynx. Alan Lyons earned the win for Calgary. He lasted 6.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 7. With the win, he raised his record to 2-0.

Calgary used the timely hitting of Willie Graham to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Lynx on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Graham. "And not try to do too much."

The setback makes Monongahela 32-17.
