Red Pandas Stun Black Mambas, 3-1

Sioux Falls and Austin played a hard-fought contest.
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas knocked off the Austin Black Mambas, 3-1, in USSL Triple A action at Mamba Park. Sioux Falls pitcher and Oakland, California, native Curtis Hall had an outstanding performance. The win was credited to Tony Hensley in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Alejandro Paboal took the loss. Juan Luis Matos picked up the save, his 2nd.
Tony Flores came through with a big-time hit for Sioux Falls. The center fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 3-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Flores told the Sioux Falls Times.
The third-place Red Pandas bumped their record to 27-22.
