Squirrel Monkeys Overwhelm Liberty Reserves, 15-6
The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys beat the Philadelphia Liberty Reserves, 15-6, at Liberty Reserve Stadium. The win was due in part to first baseman Albert Devigorerrazuriz, who slugged 2 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 5. The winner was Rizhean Bonrostro in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Roland Jamison took the loss. Syracuse is now 24-26, Philadelphia 22-28.

In the top of the seventh, Devigorerrazuriz put his team in front with his 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Matthew Rentería, made it 8-5, Syracuse.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Devigorerrazuriz.
