The Tortolita Drummers picked up a win at The Bamboo Forest, knocking off the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 5-3. On the mound for Tortolita was left-hander Geoffrey Da Costa. He played a key role in the triumph. Da Costa, the winner, moves to 4-4. He threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 2 walks. Billy Richardson notched his 3rd save of the season.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Joe Bunte? The Tortolita second baseman had a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Drummers on top, 2-0. For the game, Bunte had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
