Humpbacks Earn 9-8 Win Versus Dogfish Head
The Alaskan Humpbacks outlasted Gerardo Carranza and the Milton Dogfish Head, 9-8. Carranza was impressive in the loss. The Milton left fielder went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The Humpbacks lead the Silver AAA by 3 games.

Walt Lucas was the walk-off hero for Alaskan. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Humpbacks third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Lucas told the Alaskan Citizen.
