Norfolk Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Norfolk Pajaritos eked out a 3-2 win versus the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at Norfolk Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Lorenzo García. He was terrific. David Adelabu, who is rated as the 55th best prospect by BNN, was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Andrés Chávez. The Red Pandas, now 29-27, have lost 4 in a row.

Phil Parks was the walk-off hero for Norfolk. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pajaritos third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"That's baseball," said Sioux Falls manager José González. "You're not always going to be hitting on all cylinders."
