Rocks Rally to Eke Out Win
The Plymouth Rocks clipped the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 4-3, in 10 innings at Crane Field. The standout performance belonged to Plymouth pitcher and Ferndale, Maryland, native B.J. McLean. The Golden Cranes have now dropped 6 straight.

Plymouth used the timely hitting of Baltwin Davids to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rocks on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Plymouth manager Gerald Clark. "It's usually not just one thing."
