The Kansas Rainbeaus and Sioux Falls Red Pandas provided some drama for the home crowd.

Jorge Pares, who is tied for 10th in the SAAA with a 7.6 K/9 rate, propelled his team to victory over the Kansas Rainbeaus. The final score was 4-3, Sioux Falls. Aukthya Shalabh earned save number 9 this season.

Second Baseman Hank Sutton made an impact for Sioux Falls, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Terry Ward in the bottom of the fifth. For the contest, Sutton was 1-2 with a double and a walk.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Pares, "and then get after it again."

Sioux Falls is now 25-33.
