Squirrel Monkeys Reel Off Another Win
Despite a fine performance by center fielder Jeremy Brooks, the Tortolita Drummers lost to the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, 6-5. Brooks went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Syracuse has now reeled off 7 straight wins.

Helping the Syracuse cause was Walt Flowers. In the top of the first, the 22-year old shortstop had a run-scoring walk to make the score 2-0, Squirrel Monkeys.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Syracuse manager Ramón Barrueco.
