Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Hartford Pride and Plymouth Rocks.

Hartford beat Plymouth at Pride Park, eking out a 6-5 win. The triumph was primarily due to first baseman Bob Watson. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Alex Wicksted was the winner. He's now 3-3. The loser was Norberto González. Ernan Rillera earned the save for Hartford, his 14th of the year.

With Hartford leading 3-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Watson hit a fastball from Norberto González for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Pride ahead, 6-0.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Watson told the Hartford Times.

Hartford is in 7th place in the Silver AAA with a record of 26-34.
