The Milton Dogfish Head rode a solid performance from 32-year-old starting pitcher Andy Johnson to a win, beating the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds, 4-1, at Milton Corner Tavern. Johnson picked up the win for Milton, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 2-3. Henry Tucker earned the save for Milton, his 15th of the year.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the seventh inning, but Robert Shirt didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 3rd and Ellenburg trailing 3-1, Shirt retired Wen Mi to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Shirt, with a wink.
